Wow, it's been a year since I made a journal entry . . .

In case any of you were curious, I am safe following the hurricane, our house seems mostly undamaged as well.  Just need to get power back .  . .

For anyone else hit by Irma, I hope you are doing well!

So sort of got a new position (yay? ) where I work which involves lots of new tasks, etc and I am struggling to keep up. 

I haven't taken nor posted a picture in about a month which sucks though.  Some of that has to do with the Zika spread in Miami so I basically never want to go outside without long sleeves/bug spray, so my motivation to go out can often be trumped by the desire to not be smelly

So thing aren't necessarily bad, just busy and such,  Hopefully I will be posting more soon.  I want to get through my backlog of notifications and see what everyone else has been up to too, 7500 to go right now

So I had been wondering about this, but seem to have more evidence now. 

So as someone on dA, I join/watch groups, and submit pictures to those groups to get them seen by other members.  That's the fundamental basis of the way I use the site.

So normally/historically, when I submit a photo to a group and they accept the photo, I see my photo pop up in the "Watch" part of my notifications page, now in the "Group Deviation Stacks" section. 

However, lately, many times I will have photos accepted, but I will never see the photo pop up in that section.  Sometimes some of my accepted photos will, so it's not 100% in all cases. 

Does anyone know what's going on here?  Is there someway for either groups or individual members to pick what accepted pictures are displays in the "watch" section?  Because there is basically zero reason for me to submit pictures to groups if no one will see them.  Maybe it's just a dA bug?

Any information would be useful!

EDIT: It looks like it may be something where any individual deviation is only displayed in your group stacks once.  So when I submit to multiple groups, which ever one accepts it first, will show up in my feed (and not in the others).  Maybe they try to reduce redundancy that way?  I'm not sure, but I think that may be the case.

So much going on at work and at home lately!  I just noticed that my one-a-day desk calendar is still on May 2nd.   Also, I have fallen off of my 52 week photography project.  I may try to catch up on it, but I am not sure. 

I hope everything is going well for everyone (esp. a few of my dA buddies who have been having tough times in the past few weeks or so).

Hopefully I'll have time to catch up here soon, but we'll see, still lots going on!
